Want to know more about Pokemon & how our tier list is organised? Read some of our useful guides & information below as well as discover what Pokemon are!
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet includes new Pokémon unique to the Paldea region as well as select Pokémon from various other Pokémon regions. The Paldean region does not include all Pokémon from the National Dex.
Our Pokémon Scarlet & Violet tier list includes all of the confirmed Pokémon in the Paldea region to date and will only include Pokémon found in this region. This includes Pokémon from older games which can be found in the Paldea region.
We will be updating this list as more Pokémon are announced from official trailers and gameplay. To date there's at least 200 confirmed Pokémon including the 2 legendaries and 23 new Pokémon.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet takes place in the region of Paldea. The Paldean region seems to be based on three different countries of Spain, Portugal, and Andorra in the real-world Iberian Peninsula. The Champion of Paldea's Pokémon League is Geeta. She is considered the most skilled Trainer of the Paldean region and is the chairwoman of the Pokémon League.
In Paldea, there are vast open plains, huge towers, lakes, snowy mountains, deserts, swamps and many varied locales home to new and old Pokémon. Towards the southern centre of Paldea are the two oldest schools, the Naranja Academy (Scarlet) and Uva Academy (Violet). It's at these schools, you will embark on your latest quest, recieve your uniforms and starter Pokémon before you set out on your adventure.
The official website for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Covers latest news, gameplay and information on the Paldean region including a full Paldea Pokédex of all new Scarlet & Violet Pokémon!
Full interactive Paldea game-map. Find photos and locations of Scarlet and Violet.
Our Pokémon Tier Lists are ordered on your monthly votes. Each month you will get a set amount of votes (varies depending on the size of the tier list). The tier list updates automatically at the end of each month at UTC 12am. The clock above will adjust to your timezone.
Rank messages will tell you how much a Pokémon/Candidate has moved up or down since the previous month. If 2 Pokémon/Candidates have the same amount of votes, then whichever was higher the previous month will be ranked higher. Your votes will reset each month automatically. If you'd like to see how many votes a particular Pokémon/Candidate received, click the orange vote icon and you'll be able to see individual votes in the popup.
Clicking any of the icons will automatically filter all tier lists to only display the selected. For example if you click the icon, then the tier list will only display Grass Pokémon in order of highest votes. Feel free to use the search bar to quickly search for your favourite Pokémon's position!
Pokémon are creatures that live alongside humans. They have many types, personalities and live in various locations such as grassy plains, caves or the ocean. Trainers who "catch" Pokémon are called Pokémon Trainers, who seek to battle eachother in order to become the best.
The Pokémon video game series is developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. To date Pokémon games span many Nintendo platforms initially releasing on the Nintendo Gameboy on February 27, 1996 under the name Pocket Monsters Red and Green. To learn more about Pokémon, visit the Official Pokemon Site!
There are 18 Pokemon Types in total. Steel and Dark Types were introduced in Pokémon Silver and Gold (Gen 2) and Fairy Types were introduced in Pokemon X & Y (Gen 6):
Our Pokémon tier lists include Pokémon type filters. You can either click a type icon next to the Pokémon and it will show every Pokémon of that type or use the dropdown next to the searchbar to search for a specific type. You can search by region and name in the same way.
